Living Green

I hadn't gotten on Teens for Planet Earth in a while. When I first found this site I thought it was awesome. I adore nature, Earth, and learning. This site was a combination of all of that. But I live in an area where I'm pretty much the only one who thinks like that. All the teenagers I go to school with are more concerned about gossip, dating, and makeup. "Personally I think they should have a bike rentals around the park. Then we wouldn't have to drive all around to get places. Not only would it save on gas but you'd be able to spend more time outside. It's a win win!"

Walking VS. Driving

I'm 18 and only now have my driving permit. I could have gotten it two years ago but I didn't have a big need. For one thing, if I ever needed to go to town I'd go with my grandma and we'd do all of our errands together. Then I moved to the smallest town in PA. I'm not sure if that's completely true, but it feels like it. Again, there was no need to drive. I can walk to the grocery store, library, rite-aid, dollar store, and even the school. Camping

I love nature. It's beautiful, green, clean, crisp, and smells wonderful. This whole weekend, from Friday til this morning, I was surrounded by trees, flowers, and waterfalls. My mom and I meet up with friends at Lechworth state park in NY every year. We've been going there for they last six years and every year I see something new. I'm in awe with everything I see.



Now, I don't actually camp with tents. I "camp" at the inn within the park but that's only because it rains every year… Continue
