Project Description: Community wide old tennis shoe collection to be ground up and recycled into new playgrounds for kids in New Orleans.
The Recycle Your Soul/Sole program was designed to get kids involved in collecting and reusing their old worn out tennis shoes to help provide a new playing surface for kids who lack outdoor facilities for physical education. If kids start recycling now, they will continue the habit and urge others to join in. Pretty soon the community will be involved too.
