Project Description
I am working with my town Deputy Commissioner of Parks in creating a Children's Outdoor Nature Explore Area at North Hempstead Beach Park. There will be a treehouse, butterfly garden, sandbox, water play area, mud play area, tire swings, benches and picnic tables, informative plaques, and lots of flowers! We will hold various workshops here, such as eco-friendly art projects, book readings, and children's environmental awareness discussions.
